We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the
operations of the children's home. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing
strong leadership, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting the welfare
and development of children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support.
● Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
● Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
● Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and standards, including Ofsted regulations and National Minimum Standards for Children's Homes.
● Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes the well-being, safety, and development of children and young people.
● Establish and maintain effective communication channels with children, families, external agencies, and other stakeholders.
● Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care provision, identifying areas for
improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Qualifications and Experience:
● Registered Manager qualification (Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management forResidential Childcare or equivalent).
● Previous experience in a managerial role within a children's residential setting (3 yearminimum)
● Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice guidelines.
● Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff teams.
● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
● Commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children and young people.
