Scope
As a Design engineer working within the HV systems team you will be responsible for BEV Battery Design to a high standard across multiple vehicle builds within the design team. Key tasks include but are not limited to;
• CAD design with Siemens NX to requirements delivered by Technical leads
• Work with internal and external design partners to develop the battery systems
• Provide an agile approach to design engineering to a high standard and be adaptable to meet design needs.
• Perform design tasks to relevant quality and safety standards within the Automotive industry.
Required skills
• Automotive Engineering degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1-2 years experience within HV systems/Battery Design within Automotive environments.
• Understanding of off-board and on-board charging technologies
• Knowledge of High Voltage Safety and Legislation
• Proven Design knowledge using Siemens NX or similar design tools
• Good communication, ability to work with suppliers and other engineer
