Our Aerospace client in South Molton are seeking CNC Machinist to join them on a permanent basis.
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC turning and milling machines. Your role involves ensuring part accuracy, adjusting offsets, and collaborating with the team for efficient tooling setup.
For a skilled machinist, we would offer a starting base salary of £26,112 with a rotating shift pattern (earlies and lates), therefore, a 20% shift premium on top of this) and then, after 12 weeks depending on skills, salary could progress to any of the below (base salary):

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate for proper tooling setup
- Set and operate CNC machines per instructions
- Verify part accuracy and adjust offsets as needed
- Obtain and maintain machine approval status
- Conduct inspections and resolve issues according to procedures
- Be flexible in assisting colleagues and working on various machines
Preferred Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in CNC turning and milling
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measurement tools
- Proficiency in computer literacy
- Familiarity with COSHH procedures
Hours of Work:
37 hours per week, rotating shift pattern over two weeks
- Earlies: Monday to Thursday, 6am to 2pm; Friday, 6am to 11am
- Lates3 Monday to Thursday, 2pm to 10pm; Friday, 11am to 4pm
