Job Description
Amazon is seeking a motivated Robotics Support Engineer to join the International Robotics Deployment Engineering organization. The role of the Robotics Support Engineer will be to provide support to our robotics deployment teams by inventing and simplifying standards and processes and streamlining communication in front of external stakeholders. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills. Successful candidates will have strong level of ownership and be highly motivated individuals who have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment and delivering results. The candidate must be a self-starter and be able to execute at both tactical and strategic level with strong attention to detail. Experience in robotics deployment or project management processes is a plus.
This role is based in London but will require travel on a regular basis to projects in EU and/or APAC.
Key job responsibilities
-\tProvide support to the robotics deployment teams internationally (EU, UK and APAC), identifying and improving process gaps and inefficiencies.
-\tCollect, analyse and categorise project lessons learned and best practices in collaboration with field teams.
-\tPrepare business reports for senior leadership.
-\tMaintain internal documentation up to date, including the Plan of Record and headcount breakdown.
-\tCommunicate and earn trust with internal and external stakeholders representing the best interests of the team.
-\tOrganise team meetings in close collaboration with senior leaders and portfolio managers.
A day in the life
You will be interacting daily with a wide variety of functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization and in multiple time zones. You will conduct multiple weekly meetings with internal teams, stakeholders and leadership to plan and manage deliverables. You’ll be liaising with subject matter experts from across the organization, diving deep in the processes we use to deploy technology and improve upon them.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS-\tBachelor’s degree in Engineering.
-\tExperience writing technical and business planning narrative documents.
-\tExperience developing processes and measuring key operational metrics.
-\tAbility to provide large-scale continuous improvement on deployment efficiency.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS-\tProblem solver with excellent verbal/written communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional process improvements.
-\tStrong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills paired with hands-on attitude, excellent attention to detail, and good business judgement.
-\tSelf-motivated; ability to handle multiple responsibilities under limited supervision.
-\tAbility to influence others in a positive and professional manner.
-\tComfortable presenting to and facilitating decisions among senior leaders based on evolving priorities.
-\tComprehensive understanding of project management tools and processes.
