We are currently looking for a Senior HR People Services Advisor to join our Human Resources team in the UK, part of our global HR Division.
By joining this role, you’ll play a vital role in our company’s effort for the construction of the Protos Energy Recovery Facility project in Chester, UK, by overseeing HR People Services functions crucial to project success.
Your role will encompass:
· Provide advice and support to employees ensuring the correct execution of HR processes and procedures are adopted
· Collaborate with the HR Regional Lead to advise the Site Manager and other management as appropriate and enforce site regulations to ensure compliance with statutory employment requirements outlined in the Labor Code.
· Ensure awareness and full understanding of the statutory requirements relating to the employment of labor, working conditions, welfare, redundancy in line with Labor Code.
· Support with thorough induction processes for newly recruited labour, ensuring clarity on terms and conditions of employment, work duties, wage payment systems, and welfare facilities available on-site.
· Ensure that full and complete records are maintained of all starts, finishes, work records, warnings, final assessment disputes, meetings, etc.
· Maintain good relationships with the stakeholders to unlock barriers to execution
· Collaborate in the implementation of HR processes and critical projects, focused on continuous improvement, data accuracy and employee experience
· Drive positive changes to improve employee experience.
· Ability to coach and influence site personnel and lead by example.
· Seek to improve ways of working and spotting areas of change.
· Provide support and guidance to the wider project department on UK employment law and labour code.
What you bring to the role:
· 5+ years’ experience in senior HR positions.
· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Law, Social Sciences.
· Previous experience in the construction or manufacturing sector.
· MSc in HRM or MBA will be considered an asset.
· Fully qualified CIPD.
· Solution-oriented and hands-on approach.
· Strong analytical and reporting skills with high attention to detail.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
