Panoramic Associates is currently seeking an experienced Estates Surveyor to join a Local Authority team for an initial 6-month contract based in Hertfordshire. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to property management and development initiatives within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaising with internal and external clients, members of the public, and officers.
* Measuring property in accordance with the RICS Code of Measuring Practice.
* Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules of works for tendering/quotations.
* Contract administration of projects, including issuing certificates, variation orders, and certifying payments.
* Identifying building defects and providing recommendations for repair, including preparing estimates.
* Preparing budget estimates, costs, and outline specifications during the design process.

Desired Skills and Experience
Chartered Building Surveyor: Certified and experienced in building surveying, possessing a professional designation.
Repairs and Health & Safety Oversight: Demonstrated ability to instruct and oversee repairs and health and safety works to ensure compliance and property maintenance.
Contract Management: Proven experience in managing client contracts, ensuring adherence to terms and successful project completion.
Compliance and Capital Programme: Track record of managing compliance works and contributing to capital programs, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with various departments and stakeholders to achieve common objectives
