Sales Consultant (Reality Capture Solutions) – Home Based with Nationwide remit ( to £60,000 + Bonus + Car (or Allowance) + Benefits!
About the Job:
Global market leading provider of surveying technology / solutions to geospatial professionals in the civil engineering, construction and land surveying sectors now seeks to recruit an experienced Sales Consultant to join their Reality Capture division. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that is renowned for their innovative technology and premium products. They have brought the most advanced GNSS, 3D laser scanners, mobile mapping, UAV’S and total station solutions to the market.
This is a 360-sales role involving both “hunting” and “farming activities” where you will be managing and developing existing accounts as well as developing new business. The role is home based with a nationwide remit that will entail regular domestic travel often requiring staying away from home (there may also be a need for some overseas travel on occasion).
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Managing and developing new business from existing accounts / customers across the survey, building construction and heavy construction industries.
* Identifying new markets within these industries for Reality Capture solutions and work to develop opportunities within these markets.
* Identifying competition accounts within the marketplace and working to nurture relationships to try and convert them.
* Working with the Reality Capture Director to deliver sales forecasts along with activity reports.
* Actively promoting new technology adoption within the core industries which are Surveying, Construction and Heavy Construction.
* Sales pipeline management utilizing the CRM system (Salesforce)
* Collaborating with key internal stakeholders to ensure they are clear with the direction of business and are able to provide any necessary support.
* Providing feedback to senior management on general market conditions, compiling and delivering reports in and around your business area.
* Attending industry and company specific conferences and events
What we are looking for:
* Ideal candidates will possess proven experience in a similar sales / account management role within the Reality Capture sector.
* Knowledge of a wide range of Reality Capture equipment and the requirements of the users of such equipment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability in interfacing at all levels and the ability to present information effectively to managers and clients / customers.
* Fluent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Experience of using CRM software for pipeline management (e.g. Salesforce.com )
* A willingness to undertake regular domestic business travel to meet with clients - least 4 days per week and this may often require staying away from home. There may also be some need for international travel, but this will not be regular.
