As the Head of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology landscape, driving innovation, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
1. Leadership: Provide strategic direction and inspire the engineering team to achieve departmental goals.
2. Project Oversight: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely and within budget delivery.
3. Resource Management: Assign workloads, optimize resource allocation, and foster collaboration.
4. Technical Guidance: Offer hands-on technical guidance, especially in JavaScript, React.JS, and AWS.
5. Budgeting and Scheduling: Estimate project budgets and schedules for efficient resource utilization.
6. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with senior management, vendors, and clients, providing regular updates.
7. Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality software development practices and adherence to best practices.
8. Innovation: Drive innovation within the engineering function, exploring new technologies and methodologies.
Requirements:
* Technical Expertise: Proficiency in JavaScript, React.JS, and AWS. Ability to teach and mentor team members.
* Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional engineering teams.
