What you'll be responsible for:
The selected candidate for the Investment Analyst role will conduct investment research, build financial models, and support portfolio decision-making across asset classes. You will translate market data and company fundamentals into actionable investment insights that drive superior returns. You will:
* Conduct in-depth fundamental research on companies, industries, and market trends to identify investment opportunities
* Build sophisticated financial models (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and scenario analysis)
* Analyse financial statements, competitive positioning, and business models to assess investment risk and return potential
* Monitor portfolio holdings and track performance against benchmarks and investment theses
* Prepare investment memos, pitch presentations, and research reports for portfolio managers and investment committees
* Support due diligence processes (management meetings, site visits, expert calls, and third-party research analysis)
* Track macroeconomic indicators, market developments, and regulatory changes that impact investment decisions
You'll be a strong match if you have:
* 3-5+ years in consulting (MBB, Big 4, or boutique firms) with exposure to valuation, financial modelling, or industry research
* Strong financial analysis skills, i.e., you understand financial statements, build models from scratch, and can evaluate business fundamentals
* Experience with equity research, credit analysis, or investment due diligence processes
* The ability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources and distill it into clear investment recommendations
* Knowledge of valuation methodologies (DCF, multiples-based valuation, comparable transaction analysis)
* Experience working with quantitative and qualitative data, i.e., you balance rigorous analysis with business judgment
