*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to the storage and distribution of goods within our warehouse. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Warehouse Worker will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and shipped in a timely manner.
*Responsibilities*
* Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling of materials.
* Stock shelves and maintain an organised inventory system using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
* Perform materials handling tasks, including heavy lifting as required.
* Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly documented.
* Engage in picking and packing orders accurately to meet customer specifications.
* Build pallets for shipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
*Experience*
* Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
* Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating various warehouse equipment safely.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift is required.
* A proactive attitude towards teamwork and problem-solving is essential for success in this role.
A full IN DATE counterbalance FLT truck license is required for this position.
