We are seeking a Registered Manager for our brand-new, 2-bedded children's home in Telford (TF2), specialising in supporting children and young people with Learning Disabilities (LD) and complex needs. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead a specialist provision from the ground up and make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities
* Register with Ofsted as the Home Manager and lead the home to achieve a minimum 'Good' rating
* Provide inspirational leadership and build a strong, child-centred team
* Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, Children's Homes Regulations, and all safeguarding protocols
* Develop and maintain care plans, risk assessments, and individualised support strategies
* Promote a nurturing and therapeutic environment tailored to the needs of children with LD
* Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of staff
* Manage the home's budget, resources, and rotas effectively
* Build strong working relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
* Ensure the voice of the child is central to all decisions and planning
What We're Looking For
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Essential
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy in a children's residential setting – Essential
* Experience working with children with Learning Disabilities, autism, and/or complex needs
* In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and children's residential care standards
* Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
* A calm, resilient, and child-focused approach
* Full UK Driving Licence – Essential
