Role: Electrical Delivery Lead (HV/LV)Position: ContractLocation: Hinkley Point C, SomersetDuration: 12 Months RollingRate: Circa £380 p/d PAYE + 36 days annual leave // Circa £515 p/d UmbrellaJob Purpose / OverviewAs a Delivery Lead (Electrical) you will report directly to the CSS Senior Infrastructure, Utilities & Integration Delivery Lead and be responsible for the delivery and implementation, of the Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance Contract, specifically the electrical scope.The Delivery Lead will be responsible for developing, reviewing and amending policies and procedures that underpin strategy within their work area, and may also be called upon to help prepare detailed specifications, in support of the procurement process. Review technical designs and procedures to ensure the Electrical utilities will meet the required standards. Monitor adherence to the established standards.The role would suit someone who has the ability to manage and co-ordinate a range of activities simultaneously whilst continuing to enable the contractor to deliver the operational requirements of the contract.
A background and qualifications in high voltage electrical work is essential.Principal AccountabilitiesManage day to day the provision of a critical site support service to a construction workforce of circa 14000Be accountable for ensuring all statutory, regulatory and site controls are complied withForm effective relationships with their service contract partner and champion; clarity, respect, positivity, humility and integrityEnsure the contract partners team are fully competent to perform their assigned roles - and that any shortfalls are reported to the Senior Infrastructure, Utilities & Integration Delivery Lead without delayDevelop and implement plans to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds the expectations and project work scheduleEnsure early intervention to avoid any escalation of issues affecting service delivery by working in the spirit of a 'one team approach'Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & ExperienceEssentialManagement [or leadership] experience in a service lead environment.Knowledge & experience of HV and LV electrical systems design, installation, testing and maintenance.Knowledge & experience of HV and LV electrical systems switching, isolation and control including Safety Rules.Knowledge of appropriate Regulations and Codes of Practice including Electricity at Work Regs, BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations and associated COP, National Grid Code, Electricity Connection Standards of Performance.Experience of working in a high security environment.Must be confident in own abilities and be able to deliver in a dynamic environment.Willingness to learn from both successes and failures.Proven experience within a large project environment.Excellent communication skills and able to strike up effective working relationships.Must be willing to work with our local supply chain partners in a cooperative way.DesirableDegree standard education in related subject or related experience and skillsets.Experience of working with and developing budgets.Recognised and certificated 'Behavioural Safety Programme'.Recent IOSH accreditation [or equivalent].Rullion celebrates and supports diversity and is committed to ensuring equal opportunities for both employees and applicants.TPBN1_UKTJ
