About the role
We are seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of English to join our successful and collaborative department at St Brendan's Sixth Form College. This is an excellent opportunity to teach English within a clearly structured post‑16 setting that allows teachers to focus on subject expertise and high‑quality teaching.
Responsibilities
* Teach GCSE English, A Level English Literature and A Level Language and English Literature
* Support students to develop confidence, literacy, critical thinking and independent learning
* Contribute to a reflective and high performing English department
* Teach English as an additional language (EAL) – desirable
* Teach other subjects such as Media Studies and/or Film Studies – desirable

About you
