Description
Reporting to the Head of Learning & Development, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training to ensure employees are fully trained on all health and social care requirements in line with company and regulatory standards.
Esland adopts a blended learning approach. As a Learning & Development Partner, you will support and contribute to this ethos and its design.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with the wider people and culture team to design and deliver health and social care training for employees.
2. Ensure smooth execution of training events by being organized, timely, and professional, including:
* Preparing course administration in advance
* Ensuring availability and functionality of equipment and materials, standardized and approved by the group
1. Manage assessments and evaluations of training sessions, producing reports and recommendations for the Head of Learning & Development.
2. Maintain accurate records of all courses using HR and Training systems.
3. Liaise with service providers to meet current and evolving needs.
4. Stay informed about new legislation and registration requirements relevant to the organization.
5. Develop expertise in a designated subject area, researching updates and collaborating with external agencies to ensure best practices.
6. Adhere to health and safety standards and uphold professional integrity in all training activities.
7. Promote equality and opportunity through training design and delivery.
8. Embed Esland’s values in all learning activities.
9. Train colleagues and managers in Train the Trainer workshops to enable them to deliver quality training within standardized frameworks.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
* Knowledge of best practices, current legislation, and policy trends in Children’s Health and Social Care.
* Understanding of mandatory subjects and varied learning approaches.
* Knowledge of learning theories and development best practices.
* Familiarity with qualifications within the Health and Social Care sector, including RQFs.
* Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
* Training or teaching qualification.
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
* Previous experience as a trainer in Children’s Health and Social Care.
* Resource management experience.
* Administrative skills, including report writing and record keeping.
* Effective communication skills across various settings.
* Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn and develop professionally.
