Details Position: Head of Year
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Condensed school year with two week half term in October

Key responsibilities
Lead and manage the achievement, progress and pastoral provision for a year group of students
Have responsibility for the strategic overview of the year group, including self evaluation and the improvement plan for the year group
Monitor student progress including attendance, achievement and behaviour
Requirements
Ability to demonstrate an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
Ability to evidence effective continuous professional development
