Gear Down Competitions is a fast-growing online competition platform offering customers the chance to win a range of exciting prizes. As our audience continues to grow, we are looking for a creative and motivated Digital Marketing Executive to join our team at our Rossendale unit and help elevate our online presence.
The Role
This is a hybrid digital marketing role that combines creative design, social media management, and live content production. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and growing our online channels while supporting our regular live competition draws.
This role would suit someone with experience working in a digital marketing agency, or someone who has successfully managed social media and marketing for a business and is looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
* Creating engaging graphic content for social media, website promotions, and marketing campaigns
* Planning, scheduling, and posting content across social media platforms (primarily Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok)
* Supporting and assisting with live competition draws and live social media content
* Developing creative marketing ideas to increase engagement and ticket salesMonitoring social media performance and identifying opportunities for growth
* Assisting with website promotions, product launches, and campaign announcements
* Maintaining consistent brand presentation across all digital platforms
Skills & Experience
* Experience in digital marketing, social media management, or a similar role
* Strong graphic design skills (experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar)
* Understanding of social media platforms and what drives engagement
* Comfortable appearing on or assisting with live social media content
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
* A proactive and enthusiastic attitude
