Your Role as a Teaching Assistant As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs—both within the classroom and in smaller group or one-to-one sessions. You'll work closely with class teachers and SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators) to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
