The Role
We seek a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your main responsibility will be to develop mechatronic systems that improve the productivity and capabilities of our aerodynamics development processes for motorsport and high-performance production vehicles. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, designing, developing, and optimizing solutions to address technical and engineering challenges. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our competitiveness and advancing our innovations.

What You’ll Do
* Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing.
* Create detailed system architectures and specifications aligned with product requirements.
* Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to develop innovative solutions.
* Coordinate with external suppliers to evaluate and select components and technologies.
* Perform system testing, analysis, and debugging to ensure functionality and reliability.
* Manage the delivery of prototypes and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, firmware/software integration, and testing.
* Prepare technical reports, specifications, and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering with a proven track record.
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software integration.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
* Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
* Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Preferred:
* Master’s degree in relevant fields.
* Experience with automotive, motorsports, or aerodynamics testing.
* Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink.
* Expertise in CAD and mechanical design.
* Knowledge of control systems and theory.
