As the Property & Facilities manager you will be part of our Group property team who are responsible for managing the property portfolio for both existing and new properties ensuring property compliance from a lease and facilities perspective.
As the Property & Facilities Manager, you’ll get the opportunity to:
1. Responsible for the management of commercial lease agreements, ensuring all leases are collated and documented into the Group software system. This will Include gathering lease documentation and collating such as Schedule of condition, Dilapidation and O & M for completeness.
2. Support the development and implementation of processes to manage property and the maintenance of property supporting the Group Property & Facilities team objectives.
3. Minimise business risk by managing and monitoring M Group property software lease information as well as Facilities management contractual arrangements and deliverables.
4. Support Budget setting and control for Commercial properties by division, surveying and implementing change requirements.
5. Maintain system processes with the wider business divisions to ensure contractual responsibilities are managed, communicated and visible to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
6. Effective management of the Group Property Utilities contracts to ensure data matches that of the Group property portfolio. Also communicating Utility requirements such as meter read data is shared with contract broker for accurate billing. 1) Rationalise; 2) Opportunities (e.g. smart meters)
What you’ll bring?
7. Experience of managing Property & Facilities.
8. Experience of monitoring and managing commercial properties and leases.
9. An in-depth knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policy frameworks.
10. Extensive experience of collaborative working to achieve business objectives.
11. Ability to understand, interpret and explain complex information.
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience of stakeholder management and relationship building.
13. Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and resolve unexpected issues.
14. Excellent IT literacy
