Ada Meher is currently resourcing for a Principal Software Engineer to join the one of the country’s leading broadcasting and telecommunications companies as they continue to build and deploy new platforms to support content syndication and distribution via the Cloud. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of Python backend development and AWS infrastructure as well as capabilities with modern JavaScript/Typescript technology on the frontend. You will also capable of acting as a technical authority for more junior members of the team and driving modern practices through your input on project design and tool selection.
This role is able to be interviewed and onboarded fully remotely, however candidates should be prepared to travel to office sites in London or Winchester 1-2 days a week and have the full right to work in the UK.
Demonstrable experience backend Python Development on large-scale projects
Strong experience with JavaScript/Typescript and relevant frameworks (ideally React/Node)
Demonstrable experience with AWS infrastructure & DevOps
