Job Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Sports Coaches to join our sports department. The ideal candidates will have a passion for sports and physical education, coupled with a minimum of 1 years' experience working with children. You will be responsible for delivering a range of sports programs and activities across our after-school clubs, community programs, and holiday camps. This role requires a dynamic individual who can inspire and motivate children to participate in and enjoy sports, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver a variety of sports programs and activities for after-school clubs, community programs, and holiday camps.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with parents, children, and school staff.
* Develop and implement lesson plans that are engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with Kidz Academy's objectives.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during activities.
* Provide guidance, support, and feedback to participants to help them improve their skills and confidence.
* Maintain and organize sports equipment and resources.
* Promote Kidz Academy's sports programs to schools, parents, and the wider community.
* Assist in the planning and coordination of sports events and activities.
* Communicate regularly with the senior leadership team to track progress and ensure KPIs are met.
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum of 1 years' experience working in an educational or childcare setting, specifically in sports coaching or physical education.
* Must hold a recognized qualification for working with children / sports coaching (e.g., childcare, teaching, youth work).
* Access to own transport and ability to travel, as this role is based at our Lisburn HQ.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage resources effectively.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and children.
* Enthusiastic with a high level of initiative and responsibility.
* Ability to work under pressure, maintain professionalism, and meet agreed targets.
* Excellent timekeeping, reliability, and trustworthiness.
* Confident in leading and motivating small groups, fostering a fun and educational environment.
Desired:
* Experience working with children aged 4-11 in sports coaching or similar roles.
* Knowledge of a variety of sports and physical activities suitable for children.

* Salary: Ranging between £18,000 - £26,000, depending on age, experience, and qualifications.
Due to the nature of the role within KidZ Academy, an Enhanced Disclosure Certificate through Access NI will be required prior to the commencement of employment. Information obtained through the Access NI certification process will be handled fairly, and the presence of a criminal record will not necessarily disqualify a candidate from securing a position. A copy of the Access NI Approved Code of Practice is available upon request.
