Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
Days of Work: 5 from 6 days, Sunday to Friday 1.30pm until 10.00pm
Salary: £16.39p/h
Hours Worked Over 40: £17.49p/h

Due to continued growth, we are looking for additional team members. As a Butchery Team Leader, alongside your key duties as a butcher, you will be responsible for setting up and running a shift within the butchery. You will ensure all paperwork and procedures are adhered to along with ensuring the team abide by health and safety guidelines. You will support the team in continuous training and development providing necessary training when required.
Responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring all paperwork and procedures are adhered to
* Cutting and preparing all types of meat in line with customer order requirements
* Responsible for key holding to ensure you can open and close a shift
* Ensure cleanliness and hygienic operations in all areas
* Ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to
* Must have excellent knowledge of how the butchery runs, from machines in processing to knowing different customer requirements
* Confident and have the ability to train new starters and trainee butchers in all areas
* Must have some knowledge of HACCP and how Accord and invoicing works
* Must be able to look at forward orders and see if a special orders have been put on the system
* Have the knowledge and knowhow on prepping and preparing for the following day
