Pay Rates: £13.69 - £15.87 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Contract: Full-time, Long-term (ASAP Start)
Reeson Education are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in the OL9 area. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children's learning and helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
The Teaching Assistant will play a key role in supporting the class teacher, assisting with learning activities, and promoting pupil engagement across all areas of the curriculum. You will also take pride in helping to maintain a vibrant and organised classroom - including sorting and arranging classroom displays that celebrate pupils' work and achievements.
About the Teaching Assistant role:
 1. Provide general classroom support across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 as a Teaching Assistant.
 2. Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and group activities.
 3. Support pupils of varying abilities to ensure that every child can access learning.
 4. Help prepare classroom resources and maintain attractive classroom displays.
 5. Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork, and confidence among pupils.
 6. Communicate clearly and effectively with staff, pupils, and parents - strong communication skills are essential for this Teaching Assistant position.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:
 7. Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school or similar setting.
 8. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
 9. A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
 10. A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
 11. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
