The Prison is the UK’s first purpose-built, new resettlement Prison. After opening in 2022 it is a one of a kind new generation category C new build Prison for the future and has become an integral part of the local community.
G4S Care & Rehabilitation Services (CaRS) already successfully manages 4 prisons, one secure training centre and a number of community contracts in England and Wales. The philosophy of our prisons is to rehabilitate offenders and equip them to re-integrate into mainstream society on release. We seek to normalise prison conditions as far as possible to reflect life in the outside community. Our aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe.
We are looking for a Key Work Coordinator to join the team at HMP Five Wells
The successful candidate will provide administrative support with the delivery of key work within the residential function
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce documents and information in a timely manner ensuring consistency with company and department standards of efficiency and accuracy.
* Allocate staff to complete key work sessions with specific prisoners.
* Quality assure key work entries.
* Provide administrative support so that the department operates effectively in order to meet contractual standards.
* Record and maintain accurate information on relevant database in accordance with company procedures so that current data is readily accessible.
* Process all relevant information including queries in a timely manner to ensure contract compliance.
* Maintain effective work systems, ensuring that all correspondence and documentation is dealt with in a professional manner that meets audit requirements.
* Ensure the maintenance of security within the prison environment by compliance with security instructions.
* Assist in the promotion of creating a positive Health & Safety culture across the site leading by example, this includes reporting accidents and near misses in a timely manner & follow the applicable safe systems of work for the role.

The Ideal Candidate:
Essential Skills:
* Previous administrative experience
* Ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook Email & Calendar.
* Experience of meeting deadlines and working under pressure.
* Good attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills including both written and verbal.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience of monitoring service delivery and meeting short term objectives
