Position Overview
Band 2 Nursing Support Worker – Intermediate Care Unit, Buccleuch Lodge, Withington, Manchester.
Responsibilities
* Deliver care to 14 inpatients of any age requiring rehabilitation.
* Support patients’ return home through a package of care, adapting care plans to complex medical histories.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team including GPs, district nurses, and hospital teams.
* Safely shift between night and day rotations and other required shift work.
* Maintain accurate and timely patient records and support clinical documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience is desirable.
* Caring attitude and effective teamwork skills are essential.
* Good communication, organisational and time‑management skills.
* Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and days.
