Inspector - Asset Management (Water)
RPS has an exciting opportunity for an Inspector to work with the Asset Management team to inspect and report on the condition of assets and infrastructure, supporting the goals of the Water Consulting Business across the UK.
About The Team:
RPS Water Consulting comprises engineers, modellers, and data analysts providing asset management and operational strategy services to water industry clients. This industry offers challenges and opportunities that require innovation, dedication, and teamwork.
Our water consultancy is involved in prestigious AMP8 programs leading into AMP9 and beyond, offering long-term career stability and legacy opportunities.
About You:
You will be a key member of our water consultancy team, working alongside multidisciplinary experts on capital delivery projects, making a meaningful impact on communities and ensuring positive influence on the water industry.
Your Responsibilities:
* Inspect and report on water and sewage infrastructure assets.
* Capture features and safety/structural conditions in reports.
* Develop and follow policies and procedures.
* Contribute to team KPIs and business growth.
* Perform inspection reporting and support asset management objectives.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
* Experience in civil/structural engineering inspection and water site work preferred.
* Experience inspecting structural features, pipe bridges, and tunnels beneficial.
* Experience from utilities in civil/structural inspection considered.
* Proficiency in electronic inspection reporting and MS 365 suite.
* Knowledge of health and safety practices.
