These roles will initially start on a 6-month contract with strong potential to become permanent for the right people. Job Title: Credit Administrator Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hybrid working after full training Contract: 6-Month Contract (Potential to become Permanent) Start Date: Immediate Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 DOE These roles offers someone the chance to develop their skills within Credit Control. This is a great opportunity for someone who has already gained a small amount of experience in a pure credit position or Accounts Receivable role and you are eager to learn. This role will offer training and the opportunity to take ownership of your own ledger (circa 500 clients) over time and make a real impact in the business. With new systems being implemented to streamline processes, now's an exciting time to join. What you'll be doing (once trained): Managing your own ledger, building strong relationships with clients via both phone and email Maintaining regular contact to ensure timely payments and resolve any outstanding issues Using a ticketed system to handle and resolve incoming queries efficiently Working closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and effective credit management Supporting a process-driven environment with upcoming system changes Using Excel daily to manage and report on accounts Providing regular updates on aged debt and escalating accounts when required What we're looking for: You will have some experience of solid credit control under your belt but just 1-2 years will be enough! Confident learner with the desire to manage your own ledger Capable and confident to speak with clients directly over the phone Comfortable working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving Confident Excel user (comfortable with formulas, sorting, filtering, etc.) A team player who enjoys being part of a bubbly, collaborative team Available to start quickly and hit the ground running Why this role?
