Where We Need You: Managers are responsible for serving clients and ensuring the successful execution of projects. Managers develop lasting relationships with client personnel and seek to further these relationships through quality delivery. A Manager is responsible for understanding a client’s business and demonstrating technical competence in their subject matter area. Managers develop contacts and network with the business community and serve as ambassadors of Protiviti in the market. What You Can Expect: · Managing conduct risks, considering regulatory change and implementation, and designing and delivering customer remediation events. · Typical projects include Consumer Duty, Governance, Culture and Controls, regulatory applications and authorisations, and non-financial risk transformation. · Manage the successful delivery of client projects or workstreams end-to-end, to time, quality, and budget, effectively delegate tasks to team members and take ownership of the delivery and quality of team members’ work whilst leading client relationships. · Develop new relationships and work with the Managing Director/Directors to enhance and run existing client relationships to maximise Protiviti’s coverage. · Develop, with the company’s support, existing or new areas of relevant specialism and expertise to differentiate yourself in the market. · Take a leading role in the development of engagement opportunities by managing our work to propose and bid for work. · Promote Protiviti’s services in the UK marketplace to expand coverage. · Liaise with other offices globally to provide a considered and consistent approach to the market and to liaise on sharing resources. Do Your Talents Include the Following? · We do not expect anyone to have experience across all of these, but we are looking for individuals with experience of delivering regulatory projects, including but not limited to any of the following areas: Consulting experience or a strong desire to be a consultant, within Retail financial services. Retail conduct experience and/or remediation with large, complex organisations Awareness of the impact of regulation on firms' business models and the changes required to improve how regulatory and conduct risk is managed, including customer outcomes; and an ability to practically apply solutions. An appreciation of the UK regulatory conduct regime and Consumer Duty. Understanding of the customer journey/experience in a regulated environment · Strong reporting skills, commercial awareness and the ability to work under your own initiative. · Strong people skills to interact in a team environment and foster client relationships. · Demonstrate understanding of the importance of business ethics. · Excellent written, listening, verbal communication and presentation skills including documentation of findings and recommendations. · Ability to manage highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner. · Strong project management and analytical skills. Our Workplace and Employment Process Protiviti practices a hybrid working model, which is a combination of working in person with purpose and working remotely and is primarily dependent upon the needs of our client. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements varies by client, project, team, and other business factors. It can sometimes mean more of a full-time presence at our client. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local, or UK wide travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments. Remuneration and Benefits Starting salaries are competitive and are based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the salary range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Employees are eligible for medical and dental insurance cover, life assurance, pension scheme and receive up to 25 days holiday per calendar year.
