Role Overview:
As a MIG Welder, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication of high-quality steel structures and components for a wide range of bespoke projects across the UK and Europe. This position is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and highly skilled workshop team, develop your fabrication skills, and contribute to nationally recognised projects.
Role Responsibilities:
* Perform MIG welding on mild steel components (3mm-25mm thickness)
* Work from technical drawings to fabricate and assemble structures
* Maintain high quality and safety standards throughout production
* Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and site teams to meet deadlines

Required Skills:
* Proficient in MIG welding (mild steel)
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Desired Skills:
* Experience in steel fabrication or bespoke structural builds
* LOLA or equivalent crane operation certification
* Familiarity with workshop health & safety practices
Experience:
* Minimum 1 year MIG welding experience on mild steel
* Background in fabrication, construction, or industrial manufacturing
Salary & Benefits:
* £14.50/hour (flexible depending on experience)
* Weekly hours: 38 hours

Shift Pattern:
* Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
* Friday: 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM
