Description
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Composite Trimmer to join our elite motorsport manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will play a crucial part in building and finishing high-quality carbon fibre components to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Trim, assemble, bond, and repair high-quality carbon fibre components to exacting standards.
* Use hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
* To appropriately maintain equipment as required including but not limited to changing blast media, changing filters in extraction, oiling tools and machinery
* Communicate progress, flag issues, and keep systems updated.
* Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure components meet exact specifications.
* Support continuous improvement and maintain industry-standard skill levels.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Previous experience working with carbon fibre in a high-performance or motorsport environment.
* Proven knowledge of trimming, bonding, and assembly techniques.
* Possess a thorough understanding of effectively and accurate use of measuring equipment and reading weighing equipment
* Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring equipment.
* A proactive mindset with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Calm, confident performance under pressure and tight deadlines.
* A strong commitment to Health & Safety and workshop best practices.
