Your Role
As part of our clients renewable energy team, you\'ll be installing, testing, and commissioning domestic and commercial solar PV systems. Responsibilities include:
* Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings
* Working confidently with DC and AC circuits, inverters, isolators, and fault finding
* Using remote monitoring systems, data loggers, and apps
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety protocols, RAMS, UK building regulations, and DNO requirements
* Reporting unsafe or non-compliant installations
* Carrying out a full range of electrical works safely and correctly
* Travelling regionally (or nationally where required) with travel time included in working hours
* Being flexible for occasional overtime or weekend work
What We Need From You
* Recognised Electrical apprenticeship and/or full electrical qualifications (Essential)
* 18th Edition I.EE certification (Essential)
* MCS Accreditation knowledge or experience (Microgeneration Certification Scheme)
* Solar PV qualifications (one of the following):
o City & Guilds 2399 - Solar Photovoltaic Installation
o LCL Awards Level 3 Award in Solar PV Systems
o BPEC Solar PV Installer Course
* ECS Gold Card (or willingness to obtain before start date)
* Knowledge of PAS 2030, G98/G99 regulations, and retrofit/funded work (preferred)
* Previous experience in solar PV or renewables (training available)
* Full UK driving licence (under 7 points)
* Own full set of tools
* A genuine passion for sustainability and innovation
