An exciting opportunity has arisen within CAMHS for an experienced and enthusiastic RMN/RNLD/RNCYP qualified Nurse to join the team.
The CAMHS team is an inclusive, values‑based multidisciplinary team, including Nursing, Clinicians, Psychotherapists, Psychologists, Play Therapists, Allied Health Professionals, Psychiatrists, Administration, Business and Support Staff. The team's ethos promotes patient‑centred care, efficiency and a culture that values, enables and develops staff.
Responsibilities: The post holder will have clinical responsibility for the own caseload and will operate within the current CAMHS delivery model, the Choice and Partnership Approach (CAPA). They will focus on improving access to psychological therapies for children and young people.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an aptitude for working with children and young people, families, colleagues and other stakeholders, with evidence of ongoing professional development and flexibility to adapt to changing service needs.
CAMHS experience is valuable but not essential. A full training and supervision package will be offered, including Essential CAMHS training modules and the NES one‑year CAMHS Development Programme, alongside supportive line management and multi‑disciplinary supervision.
An established dynamic monthly CPD programme with a local CAMHS training group supports staff development.
Relocation allowance up to £8,000 is available.
