Overview
Finance & Billing Assistant at Jola Cloud Solutions Ltd. Located in Nottingham, England, United Kingdom (Hybrid). This role supports the Finance Manager with core purchase ledger, payment, and reconciliation activities at our HQ in Stapleford.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive support across core financial functions including account management, billing, reporting, and general administration.
* Manage supplier and customer accounts, set up new accounts, maintain details, and conduct supplier reconciliations.
* Proactive credit control: issue debtor reminders for overdue invoices and minimise financial risk.
* Perform credit checks on new and prospective partners.
* Support Bill Run checks for accuracy before partner release.
* Assist with purchase ledger, payment runs, and reconciliations; address finance queries from internal teams and external partners.
* Handle general administration tasks to keep the Finance Department operating smoothly.
Requirements
* Experience in a similar finance support or administrative role is preferred but not required.
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Location & Hours
* Hours: 40 hours per week, office-based at HQ in Stapleford.
* Hybrid working environment; potential flexibility in work arrangement during recruitment process.
