What you’ll be doing
as a Senior Project Engineer
1. Oversee the design development of several wastewater network projects by engineers and consultants from the initial concept design and feasibility stage to contract award.
2. Identify, analyse, and mitigate project risks to realise opportunities, enabling scope definition and robust pricing by contractors.
3. Ensure contractors and make any necessary design changes during construction, undertake the detailed design.
4. Be responsible for providing the Project Teams with the support they need during the commissioning and handover of assets.
5. Conduct design reviews to ensure robust and safe solutions that meet business and operational requirements.
6. Act as the key contact for the CDM Designer or Principal Designer role during the initial design stages.
Hybrid – Hampton Coal Wharf.
As part of this role, you will be required to be on-site 2-3 days a week, working 36 hours a week, Monday through Friday.
The successful candidate must have a driver's license and access to a car, but please apply if you don't, as we are open to candidates without a vehicle.
What you should bring to the role
7. Hold an Engineering HNC or a degree, or a master’s degree in a specific Engineering discipline.
8. Be a chartered engineer or approaching chartership status with a relevant professional organisation.
9. Understanding the principles of project delivery in process industries.
10. Understanding of Health & Safety in the Construction Industry.
11. Understanding the decision of industrial processes in the engineering discipline.
