Are you a compassionate and patient Physiotherapist who specialises in Stroke Rehabilitation?
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Band 6/7 Physiotherapist to be welcomed into their specialist Stroke Rehabilitation team, based at a well-established NHS trust in Peterborough, Northamptonshire. The post is available for the successful physiotherapist to start as soon as possible, offering full time hours per week for an initial 3-month period.
The applying therapist should have previous experience working with a stroke rehabilitation caseload to be considered for this role.
To be considered for this role applying candidates must have:
1. HCPC registration
2. Relevant degree/qualifications in Physiotherapy
3. An encouraging attitude
4. Genuine concern for the health and wellbeing of patients
5. Good time management
6. Excellent communication and listening skills
Duties within this role will include:
7. Devising, implementing and revising relevant treatment programmes
8. Advising carers on implementing treatment programmes and training other professionals in therapy delivery
9. Seeing patients in their home environment to carry out assessment and treatment
10. Monitoring and evaluating clients’ progress
11. Be legally responsible and accountable
12. Working with patients on plans after discharging
