Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming SEN school in Runcorn that supports pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and associated learning difficulties. The school is seeking a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from January on a full-time basis.
The role will involve:
1. Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
2. Assisting students with emotional regulation, behaviour support, and engagement in learning
3. Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
4. Implementing behaviour strategies and support plans
5. Helping pupils develop confidence, communication, and independence
This role is ideal for:
6. Psychology graduates or related degrees (Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, Youth Studies)
7. Graduates considering careers in educational psychology, clinical psychology, CAMHS, or teaching
8. Candidates with experience or interest in SEN, mental health, or behaviour support
9. Calm, resilient, and empathetic individuals who enjoy working with young people
