Veterinary Surgeon – Essex | Independent Practice
Join a friendly, supportive independent small animal practice in Essex, just minutes from the coast. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for a rewarding, long-term role within a progressive, well-equipped practice.
The Role
* Full-time, permanent position
* 4-day week with one fixed operating day and one fixed day off
* 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
* No OOH
* 15-minute appointments, allowing you time to focus on high-quality care
* Varied caseload with support from certificate holders within the team
About the Practice
* Modern, recently refurbished facilities including separate cat waiting and consult rooms
* Excellent equipment: dental x-ray, digital x-ray, ultrasound, video endoscopy, and in-house lab
* 13-vet team & 14 RVN's
* Collaborative, caring, and supportive environment with a genuine team ethos
About You
* Experienced small animal vet, confident with routine surgery and diagnostics
* Competent in neutering, dentistry, lumpectomies, and imaging
* Strong communicator who enjoys working cases through and collaborating with colleagues
* Passionate about patient care and building lasting client relationships
