A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Mortgage Advice Team at Newcastle Building Society. We are looking for a qualified Mortgage Adviser to join our team. You will have the chance to provide exceptional service to customers and contribute to a supportive and dynamic department.
To support your success, full training will be provided. Reporting to the Mortgage Advice Manager, you will be supported by our experienced team throughout your journey. You will be the first point of contact for customers seeking mortgage advice via telephone, video, or face-to-face interactions. You should be comfortable engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored mortgage solutions, along with educating them on protecting their homes and families.
Our purpose is to “connect communities for a better financial future,” and this role aligns with our commitment to removing barriers around home ownership.
Our working hours are 9am-8pm Monday to Friday and 9am-3pm on Saturdays, with a 35-hour workweek.
About You
You’ll need to excel in communication across all channels—face-to-face, telephone, and digital. Experience demonstrating attention to detail, accuracy, and customer focus is essential. You should have clear, concise communication skills and be able to think creatively. The role requires being comfortable working independently with support available when needed. Being CeMAP qualified or equivalent is essential.
