Pastoral Leader Location: Colchester The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, supporting student wellbeing and ensuring that pupils feel safe, supported and ready to learn. You will work closely with staff, families and external agencies to provide effective pastoral support and guidance to students. Key Responsibilities Support the pastoral care, behaviour and wellbeing of pupils across the school. Promote positive behaviour for learning and uphold the school's behaviour systems. Be a visible presence around the school supporting pupils to attend and remain in lessons. Support pupils' personal and academic development through proactive pastoral care. Assist with behaviour investigations and disciplinary matters where required. Work closely with parents, carers, the SENCo and external agencies to ensure appropriate support is in place for pupils. Analyse attendance and behaviour data to identify trends and support targeted interventions. The Ideal Candidate Have experience working with secondary school students.
