Responsibilities
The Counter Manager is responsible for achieving retail objectives in-store. By leading your team and setting a positive example, you will maximize sales opportunities and ensure excellent customer service and shopping experiences.
Duties include:
* Management: Motivating staff, delegating roles, meeting sales targets, and maintaining high customer service standards.
* Sales Goals: Achieving counter and service sales targets through delegation, customer engagement, product demonstrations, beauty/brow services, and booking appointments.
* Brow Services: Waxing, tinting, and tweezing to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat bookings (training provided).
* Teamwork: Conducting daily meetings, communicating effectively, and recognizing positive work to motivate the team.
* Promotion & Events: Creating in-store and external events, including product launches and charity events.
* Stock: Keeping the counter stocked and reporting concerns promptly.
* Communication: Maintaining open communication with store/department managers and area managers.
* Administration: Completing administrative tasks daily, weekly, monthly, annually, and assisting with area manager admin as needed.
* Staff Rota: Preparing fair staff schedules monthly.
* Hygiene & Housekeeping: Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained.
Qualifications
Counter Managers may need to work weekends, late nights, and bank holidays along with weekday shifts.
