Activities Facilitator, Goathill Campus (8346)
37 hours per week, Fixed term of 6 months
£26,760 to £27,030 per annum, inclusive of £2,742 per annum Distant Islands Allowance
An Activities Facilitator is required for 37 hours per week, working within Taigh Shìphoirt, a 52-bedded care home including an additional 11-bedded respite wing, and Bremner Court, which consists of 35 independent flats, within the Goathill Complex.
You will plan, prepare and undertake a variety of activities and outings in consultation with Residents, Care Home Manager, Staff and Relatives of residents in a Care Home for Older Adults including Adults with Dementia.
Experience of working within a Care Setting is essential along with the ability to work with behaviours that challenge services. You will be able to forward plan / schedule and undertake activities and have the ability to pass on skills and knowledge to others. The postholder will need to be flexible and be able to work evenings and weekends.
This role requires the wearing and use of PPE.
This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with adults.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance.
