We have a rare opportunity to join our business as a Regional Director with overall responsibility for the Central region. You would provide leadership to the Trade Central sales team to ensure effectiveness and integration. Your remit will include: Develop and deploy a regional trade and spec sales plan which integrates with the national marketing and sales plans. Understand regional trade sector drivers and opportunities in order to develop strategies and tactics to achieve profitable growth. Use the SalesForce CRM system as key driver for gathering business and market intelligence. Regional ownership of key customer contacts, including wholesalers, contractors, local specifying clients. Ownership of the regional Trade Central sales budget, delivering net sales, margin and product mix results in line with company objectives. Monitor and measure sales and margin performance for the Trade Key Account Managers in order to ensure regional objectives are met. Provide accurate regional forecasts and develop effective responses to bridge any gaps between forecasted and budgeted performance. Your profile What we are looking for Experience in a Sales Management role, with working experience of the lighting industry or a closely related discipline. Qualified to Degree level or equivalent with understanding and experience of lighting from both technical and commercial standpoints preferable. A proven track record in effectively managing and motivating sales teams. Recognised Management or Leadership Qualification. Strong working knowledge of IT/CRM Systems such as Microsoft Office, SAP, Salesforce.
