Inventor Smart Care is an award-winning UK-based company on a mission to transform feline health by tackling one of the most common — yet overlooked — issues in cats: dental disease. With an estimated 85% of cats over the age of three showing signs of dental disease in the UK, the problem is widespread, frustrating, and largely preventable. However, traditional brushing methods are stressful, technically difficult, and rarely successful at home.
That’s why we created the Dental Wand — the world’s first truly cat-friendly toothbrush and winner of Best Grooming Product of the Year 2024. Unlike conventional tools that rely on restraint and owner skill, the Dental Wand engages a cat’s instinctual behaviours, allowing them to brush their own teeth daily. It’s a breakthrough born from years of research in feline behaviour and dentistry, developed alongside cat experts, and designed to deliver daily dental care in a way cats actually enjoy.

The Role
We're looking for a Freelance Business Development Representative to support our growth by generating new leads, onboarding retail accounts, and opening doors to partnerships across the UK and beyond. This role is fully remote, flexible, and commission-based — ideal for someone who thrives on independence and performance-driven rewards.
What You'll Do
* Reach out and develop new business relationships to our database of 1370 accounts.
* Identify new and reach out to potential B2B customers (retailers, wholesalers, distributors, veterinary groups, clinics, supermarkets)
* Pitch our innovative product range and mission with clarity and enthusiasm
* Build and manage your own pipeline of prospects via email, phone, and LinkedIn
* Book qualified meetings
* Keep clear records of outreach activity and progress on our CRM platform
* Collaborate directly with the sales director for support, materials, and product guidance

Please note: This is a self-employed, commission-only role. You will invoice for your earnings and be responsible for your own taxes and business overheads. As this is not an employed position, you are not entitled to minimum wage, holiday pay, or other employment rights.
