Class 2 driver wanted – £15.00 per hour – Immediate Start

We’ve partnered with this client since 2017, with many of our drivers successfully moving into frequent work. This is your chance to get Full time work representing a large-scale customer delivering across the UK.

1. Frequent work: ongoing work available Monday to Friday, with regular start times between 05:00 AM and 08:00 AM.

Your role as an HGV Class 2 driver in Burton-On-Trent
7. 5-10 drops daily: deliver palletised general haulage to local and regional destinations.
8. Efficient & safe deliveries: ensure timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to safety regulations.
9. Offloading: using tail-lift and pump truck to safely unload palletised deliveries.
10. Communication: keep in regular contact with the depot and clients to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
11. A minimum of 1 years’ experience as an HGV Class 2 driver.
12. Full in-date CPC, tachograph card, and driving licence.
13. Must have held an HGV Class 2 licence for at least 2 years.
14. Good attention to detail: ensuring safe loading and unloading of goods.
15. A positive attitude, flexibility, and confidence on the road.
16. No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
17. Willing to complete an online induction prior to starting work.
Pay & benefits
18. £15.00 per hour (Monday to Friday) + holiday entitlement.
19. Free parking at the depot.
20. Light delivery schedule with only 5-10 drops per shift.
Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly Umbrella Margins and/or Payroll Processing Fees.
