You’ll have strong experience as a carer in a care setting, with the ability to relate to residents in a caring and sensitive manner. Previous supervisory experience, such as delegating tasks, supporting inductions, or 1-to-1s, is a plus but not essential.
What’s important is that you are a positive role model, with excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate others. You should be confident in taking charge, using your initiative to resolve problems and handle queries.
