Project Coordinator – Hotels & Refurbishment
Based in Kilmarnock, Scotland
Spencer Richardson is proud to be partnering with a leading hospitality business to recruit a Project Coordinator to support the delivery of refurbishment and development projects across their growing hotel portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, quality-led business delivering refurbishment and fit-out projects within live hotel environments.
The Role
Reporting to the Property Director, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to brand standards.
You will be responsible for:
Coordinating hotel refurbishment and fit-out projects
Acting as the central point of contact between contractors, suppliers, site teams and internal stakeholders
Chasing contractors for quotes, lead times, progress updates and snagging completion
Supporting tender processes and comparing contractor and supplier quotes
Procuring small wares, fixtures, fittings and equipment (FF&E)
Raising and tracking purchase orders in line with company procedures
Monitoring budgets and identifying risks, overspends or savings opportunities
Maintaining project documentation, trackers and cost reports
Supporting snagging, handover documentation and project close-out
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
Proven experience as a Project Coordinator (ideally within hospitality, hotels or leisure)
Strong procurement and purchasing experience
Experience supporting refurbishment or fit-out projects
Confidence managing contractors and suppliers
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Strong attention to detail
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience working on live hospitality sites and familiarity with hotel operations and FF&E purchasing would be advantageous.
