Neighbourhood Officer – East Dorset
Are you looking for a new challenge in housing, working with our communities? We are looking to recruit a Neighbourhood Officer to work in East Dorset. You will provide an effective and flexible landlord service to our customers to build communities our customers are proud to live in. With a risk‑based approach, you’ll manage properties dealing with all aspects of tenancy and estate management. You’ll work in conjunction with our customers daily, supporting them with tenancy enquiries and, where appropriate, addressing tenancy breaches, creating action plans including enforcement of tenancy conditions. You will complete neighbourhood inspections and liaise with relevant colleagues to remedy any repairs or maintenance.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
* Experience working in a customer‑facing role with enthusiasm for daily challenges.
* Tenancy and estate management experience and good knowledge of housing practice and legislation.
* Ability to flexibly respond to unplanned situations and think on your feet.
* Experience dealing with challenging situations from a wide variety of customers.
* Organised and able to manage and prioritise a diverse workload with competing demands.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work at pace.
* Proficiency in IT, including the Microsoft Office suite.
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle for work purposes.
* Basic DBS check is required for successful candidates.
