A business that has been in operation for a century with nostalgic brands and some phenomenal new success stories across retail are looking at their next stage of growth. They have already invested significant capex in a new factory, further warehousing & infrastructure. In the last 6 years they have grown by a third to north of £45million turnover, delivering significant profit which has led to this self-funded, seven figure investment keeping this business debt free.
The next port of call, now the infrastructure is in place, is to add to their brilliant team who boast resumes from the likes of, Unilever, Coca Cola & AB World Foods. As a result of all of this great stuff, we are hiring a top notch new, Senior National Account Manager.
The Role:
Senior National Account Manager - End User.
This is an strategic role in this dynamic and immensely successful business with line management responsibility for 2 NAMs as well as managing core Foodservice & OOH accounts.
We require a strategic professional and expert in Foodservice to come in & own the strategy, continue to drive growth with key accounts and drive business in new channels and accounts in line with company objectives. The growth will come from increasing distribution through the current product portfolio, the relationships are there to be nurtured with the route to markets set up with the likes of Bidfood, Brakes & other national wholesalers. You will be in conversation with key End User customers such as Zizzi, Prezzo, Stonegate, Greene King and Marstons - so an understanding of how accounts like these work is very important.
You must have food or beverage experience and want the opportunity to have true autonomy & ownership of P&L and budgets. The team in place is fantastic with strong Bidfood and Brakes experience so nurturing your reports with the robust coaching and training on offer is a vital part of this role. You will be working as a leader within the business so high commercial detail is a must for anyone coming in and you will be visible to the SLT on a weekly basis, exposure is high. The business is brilliantly set up for the modern world of remote working, so your attention to detail, reporting and willingness to drive new business wins and nurture current relationships at senior level is going to be very important.
This role is all about driving volume distribution, identifying, and securing new customers and managing key accounts within the business as well as getting the best out of your team!

About You:
To be successful we need a passionate team player with expert experience of the foodservice/end user channel especially with Bidfood and Brakes. This is a business focused on strong values and sustained growth with objectives to double revenues in the next two years. You will already have a strong background in large, branded consumer business and have managed multiple reports.
A strong track record of coaching, mentoring and developing people is a must as this is a truly people focused company. Results are also key - they have lofty but achievable ambitions so if you are driven by results then this is the right place for you.

* National Key Account experience in a branded FMCG businesses.
* Out of Home, Foodservice & New Business experience is essential.
* Strong P&L understanding & management.
* Able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering new business results in Foodservice.
