We’re working with a welcoming, community-driven primary setting with a dedicated resource base, supporting children with additional needs. They’re on the lookout for an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant who can bring calm, consistency, and a genuine passion for supporting pupils who need that extra bit of care.
This is a role where relationships matter. You’ll be supporting pupils with a range of needs, helping them feel safe, understood, and ready to engage with learning.
What you’ll be doing:
* Providing 1:1 support tailored to individual needs
* Supporting communication, emotional regulation, and engagement
* Working closely with class teachers and SEND staff
* Helping create a structured, nurturing environment
* Tracking progress and celebrating small wins (the ones that really count)
What they’re looking for:
* Experience supporting children with SEND, ideally in a 1:1 or resource base setting
* A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
* Someone who builds trust quickly and genuinely cares
* Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
