What You Need To Succeed
At least three years of experience in a structural design office, preferably working on steel-frame industrial or commercial buildings.
Excellent knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards, specifically regarding structural steelwork and RC foundations.
Experience with Tekla Structural Designer (TSD) or similar 3D analysis packages is essential.
A genuine interest in the technical challenges posed by "big box" industrial units and high-spec technical facilities.
The confidence to manage small-to-medium design elements independently while coordinating with the wider BIM and Civil teams.
A proactive communicator who enjoys solving problems alongside architects, contractors, and blue-chip clients.
A strong academic background with a BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Ideally working towards Chartership with the IStructE or ICE (preferred but not essential)
